Remote Control Skydiver Kit
|
Price:  $149.95
|
|
This is the kit of our little skydiver. He is 15" tall and is made of aircraft ply and poplar. All the holes
have been drilled, except for two that have to be drilled after completion. All the hardware needed to complete
him is included. A videotape comes with each kit to explain how to assemble him. The parachute that comes with
him is completed. There is nothing to do to the chute except to latch it onto the dude when you finish him. The
steering lines have even been adjusted to our divers. There is the possibility that those lines may need a slight
adjustment. Jump him to see if he tracks straight. If not, shorten or lengthen one of the lines as necessary.
When finished, the entire unit weighs two pounds.

Complete Skydiver Outfit (without radio)
|
Price:  $199.95
|
|
This is a new jumper as they appear when they are shipped, of course the colors may be different. The names of
these fellows will probably change as well, but for now let's say that this one is Clyde Crashcup. A videotape
also comes with it and shows how to install the radio and pack the parachute, etc.

Spring Loaded Drag Chute
|
Price:  $19.95
|
|
This is the new spring loaded drag chute. It is 6" in diameter which allows the parachute to maintain it's
forward speed. The spring is inclosed in a fine mesh which keeps it from getting tangled in the lines. This
new drag chute sells for $19.95 plus postage. This little jewl just might save you from a thunderous dirt dive
some day, you might want to consider adding one to your outfit, I'm sure your little dude would appreciate it.

Skydiver Drop Boxes
|
Price:  $24.95(unpainted)
|
|
This is the jump box that we've been working on. It is self contained, by that I mean that the servo and release
mechanism are both mounted on the box. By doing it this way there is no need to put an extra servo in your plane
that you won't be using when you aren't using your plane for jumping. The servo isn't included. The price will
be $24.95 unpainted.
This is a view of the other side of the box where the release mechanism is mounted. You can see the 1/16th music
wire protruding that captures a ring on the end of the cord. Retract the wire and your dude is on his own.
This is a view of the servo and to the right is the cam lock that is used to secure the dude by the action of
the cam lock after you tighten the cord to the desired tension. The servo shown is a Hitec 605, but Futaba S148
and S3003 work as well. I haven't tried other servos but they are all fairly close in size and with small
modifications I'm sure they'll work.

Tape and Drawing Package
|
Price:  $24.95
|
|
For all you fellas out there that would like to save some bucks by building your own jumper and parachute, we've
put together a package that will help you do just that.
The videotape explains how to modify the RC Modeler Magazine plan to build the skydiver. You can order the plan
from their plans department, but it needs some modifications to make a really good little dude. Our tape also
gives helpful tips on putting the radio in you little dude, and more.
There is a section that shows how to cut and sew the parachute. The drawings are scale but not full scale. The
rib template , however, is full scale. This package can save you months of trial and error, especially in
rigiging your chute. The drawings show the exact method we use to rig our parachutes.
Going it alone is a very frustrating thing. Trial and error can really test your patience and commitment to build
a little dude and chute yourself.
If you want to build your own, this is the way to go !!
